About Me

I am a Master's candidate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a graduate of Yale University in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering, originally from sunny Salvador da Bahia, Brazil.

My passion is in the intersection of technology and healthcare, and I hope to apply my engineering skills to innovations that are meaningful to human welfare. I am particularly interested in creating seamless, biologically-integrated technologies that will enable the enhancement and further understanding of the highly-adaptable human intelligence and offer breakthroughs to predict and treat diseases.

My ultimate desire is to design medical devices with scalable fabrication methods, ensuring that progress also reaches developing regions of the world. I hope that throughout my work, I am able to make a difference by improving the level of preventative care in my native Brazil and throughout Latin America.
